Unfulfilled Orders
With orders that cannot be fulfilled the purchaser will be notified with regards to when the order will be fulfilled subject to the availability of the product/s purchased. Alternative products will be suggested to substitute the product in question. Alternatively a full refund will be available as an option.
Returns and Exchanges
You may return any item purchased on our Web site either by mail or in person at our Warehouse. Please ensure books are well packed to prevent damage - preferably in the original packaging and that the original packing slip is enclosed. Pending inspection, All returns will be issued an online credit voucher (emailed to the email address on your order) which can be redeemed against any future purchases.. Delivery fees are non-refundable.
If you wish to return a book/CD/DVD please contact customer service within 14 days of receiving the item either by phone (02) 8206 9035 or email customerservice@cookbooks.com.au, advising us of the reason for the return.
We will accept returns of books with a delivery note, within 21 days of shipping. Claims for damaged or misbound books and non-delivery must also be lodged within 21 days of shipping. If you have no packing slip, please return the book with a copy of the order acknowledgement email you received when placing your order.
DVDs, CD's and other items shipped sealed or shrink-wrapped must be returned in original sealed or shrink-wrapped condition if you are requesting an exchange or credit. We cannot accept CDs or DVDs as returns, unless the goods are factory sealed and unused, or faulty.
Returned items must be in saleable condition.

Important:- Shipping fees are non-refundable unless merchandise is damaged or faulty.
Please note:- Custom and special orders are not returnable.
If a shipped parcel has not been received by you please advise us. After 21 days from date of shipment we will either re-order and resend the order or issue a refund.
Customers who enter addresses that Australia Post have deemed as having incorrect and/or insufficient details to ensure delivery, or incorrect addresses supplied by customers, may result in the following:
Delayed delivery
Lost parcel
Package/s returned to our warehouse
Packages returned to us due to the above incorrect and/or insufficient information will require an extra delivery charge of $6.95 to resend.
If packages are lost due to the above we are unable to resupply or refund the order.
